It was interesting to hear someone say to me that they didn't have a lot of rocks in their life that they had to get over.  Rocks like childhood abuse, or hurt, addiction, betrayal, divorce, worry, fear, and despair.  I wonder, how many rocks are in your way that hinder you from having a great day?  How many rocks from your past still appear on the road before you?  Philippians 3:13-14 "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgettingthose things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."  There are things and times when we have to allow the Lord to handle the rocks.  We can't remove them on our own and we can't hide them or ignore them but we can release them to Jesus and He can guide us and lead us away from the rocks and into a highway that is higher than the road of our past.  With the rocks fading out of sight and a brighter future appearing on the horizon, your best days.... are yet to come.  Have a super day today.
This Sunday is our Family Sunday so we'll get things started at 10:15 with food and fellowship followed by the morning service.  This is a great service to bring some food and invite a friend.  I will be sharing on, 'What Makes You?'  You are who you are but how do you become who God intended you to be?  It's a journey of a lifetime.  We will also be sharing Communion and there is no evening service on Family Sunday.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you. lots of love, Pastor Kevin and Alice
