Praise the Lord for another wonder filled week.  I received an email today asking if I could help them find out more about how to place their faith in God.  It’s not just in church that people are looking for answers but everywhere people are questioning their spiritual life and their need for help to be pointed in the right direction.  I say thank God for the Body of Christ and all those who have been preparing to be ready for what God is about to do.   On Monday and Tuesday I was in Ottawa to attend the National Prayer Breakfast.  There was a Monday evening meal together with Senators, government leaders from all parties, and the presence of Almighty God.  Tuesday morning was the National Prayer Breakfast and it was wonderful to hear our national leaders Hon. Jason Kenney Conservative, MP Joe Comartin NDP, and MP Justin Trudeau leader of the Liberal party read from the scriptures.  The Speaker for the Senate, Speaker for the House of Commons also shared with us, and they had General Lawson the Chief of National Defense close in prayer.  I came home with a new hope for our nation to see revival and a renewed burden to pray for our government leaders.
This Sunday morning I’ll be sharing on, ‘Overcoming Offence.’  We just finished a 4 week Bible Study with Joyce Myers on how to handle offence.  Once we learn something new the question is are we a hearer of the word only or are we a hearer and a doer?  It’s impossible that no offences would come your way but what do you do when they do come?  Sunday evening, ‘Success Is At Hand.’  God always wants us to move forward.  If we believe that the best is yet to come then we need to be moving forward into our future where the best is waiting for us to receive.
Next Sunday is Father’s Day and we will have with us the Lumber River Quartet.  This is just a great group who know how to sing with a wonderful message of hope and healing.  I was blessed to hear them live in Moncton last summer so if you can invite someone to come with you.  There will be no evening service on Father’s Day.
Continue to pray for all those in need.  Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, lots of love Pastor Kevin and Alice
